Version 1.0, effective 11 October 2026. These terms govern purchases made on orbifex.studio. They do not apply to purchases made on Fab, which are governed by Epic’s terms.
1. The seller
Kits on this store are sold by R INVEST (societe par actions simplifiee (SAS)), RCS Bobigny 912 713 682, registered office 8 rue Isaac Newton, 93150 Le Blanc-Mesnil, France, VAT FR32912713682, trading as Orbifex. Contact: support@orbifex.studio. Full details on our Legal notice.
2. What we sell
Digital content: downloadable 3D asset kits for game engines and 3D software. Nothing physical is shipped. Each kit page states what the kit contains, the engine version it is built for, and the file formats included. The technical figures on a kit page are measured on the kit itself, not estimated.
Your right to use a kit is set by our Asset License Agreement, which forms part of this contract.
3. What you need before you buy
A kit is a professional tool, not an app. Before you buy, check the kit page for:
- the engine version — an Unreal Engine project built for 5.8 does not open in an earlier version. The GLB and FBX files work in other engines and 3D tools;
- the download size — some kits are several gigabytes;
- what is not included — characters, animations, sounds, visual effects, Blueprints or code.
If you are unsure whether a kit fits your project, ask us before buying: support@orbifex.studio. We would rather answer a question than process a refund.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in EUR on each kit page. Prices include VAT. The rate that applies to you depends on your country, and the exact amount is shown at checkout before you confirm.
The price that applies is the one displayed when you place your order. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects an order already placed.
5. Placing an order
- Add the kit to your cart and go to checkout.
- Give the information we need to invoice you and to deliver your download. For a business purchase, include your company name and VAT number.
- Tick the boxes confirming that you accept these terms and the Asset License Agreement, and that you ask for immediate access to the download and accept what that means for your right of withdrawal (see Refunds & Withdrawal).
- Pay.
The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by e-mail. We may refuse an order that looks fraudulent, that we cannot deliver, or that comes from a buyer who has broken the license before.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.
7. Delivery
Delivery is immediate and digital:
- your order confirmation e-mail carries your download links;
- the same links are in your account under My account → Downloads;
- links stay available for at least 24 months after purchase.
Keep your own copy of the files once downloaded. If a download fails or a file will not open, write to us and we will fix it — see section 9.
Nothing is sent by post, and no shipping is ever charged.
8. Invoices
An invoice is attached to your order confirmation and available in your account. For a business purchase, give us your company details at checkout: we cannot re-issue an invoice to a different legal entity afterwards.
9. If something is wrong with a kit
Digital content must match what its page describes. If it does not — a missing file, a corrupt archive, a kit that does not open in the engine version stated, an asset that is plainly not the one shown — tell us at support@orbifex.studio with your order number and what you observed.
We will reproduce the problem, then repair or replace the kit. If we cannot do either within a reasonable time, you get a refund. This is in addition to your statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity, which we do not limit.
What is not a defect: a kit that does not suit your art direction, a performance budget that does not fit your target platform, an engine version you did not check before buying, or a plugin that conflicts with the project. Each kit page states its figures so that you can judge these before buying.
10. Your account
You can buy as a guest or create an account. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account, and your download links are personal. If you believe your account has been used by someone else, write to us and we will reset your links.
11. Support
We answer at support@orbifex.studio, in English or French, usually within two working days. Support covers the kit itself: its files, its contents, how it is set up. It does not cover teaching the engine, debugging your project, or work on your own assets — though if the answer is short, we will give it anyway.
12. Things we cannot control
We are not liable for a failure caused by something outside our control: your internet connection, an engine or driver update, a third-party plugin, or a payment provider outage. If a failure on our side stops you downloading a kit you paid for, we extend your access or refund you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it; its date is at the top of this page and it is repeated in your order confirmation.
14. Law and disputes
French law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of your own country of residence wherever it is more favourable to you: nothing here takes that away.
If something goes wrong, write to us first: most problems are a misunderstanding about what a kit contains, and we answer every message. If that does not settle it, you may bring the matter before the competent courts — as a consumer, before those of your own country of residence.
For a cross-border dispute within the EU, the European Consumer Centre network can also help.
